2025 VeloPigs Pig-Nic – Gravel, Grub & Good Vibes!

The most anticipated gravel biking social of the year is back — and you’re invited! Mark your calendars and get ready to roll at the VeloPigs Pig-Nic, our annual gathering of bikes, beers, bites, and good times. Whether you’re a seasoned gravel grinder or new to the dirt, this is the perfect event to celebrate community, support a great cause, and ride some of Loudoun County’s finest roads.

Schedule of Events

10:00 AM – Group gravel rides roll out (20-, 30-, 40-mile routes with ‘party pace’ and ‘business casual’ options)

1:00 PM – Live Music by Karma Creek

2:00 PM (approx.) – Raffle prizes galore

4:30 PM – Wrap-up and hugs goodbye

What to Expect

Wristbands & Entry

Show your Pignic ticket at the VeloPigs tent to receive your pink wristband — good for one free pour and picnic bites from Farm Belly.

Food & Drink

Alongside Farm Belly’s delicious catering, we’ll have two food trucks on site with more tasty options available for purchase.

Group Rides

Explore the iconic gravel of Loudoun County on 20, 30, or 40-mile rides. Each route has a ‘party pace’ and a ‘business casual’ pace, led by Cannondale and Plum Grove Cyclery.

Raffles & Prizes

Raffle tickets will be sold at the VeloPigs tent for $10 each. Prizes include a Voler shopping spree, Shimano gear, Cannondale wheelset, Routewerks bike bags, event entries, Purple Lizard maps, and more!

Kids

Kids are welcome! Please consider a donation to the VeloPigs in lieu of a ticket.

The VeloPigs are more than just a gravel biking club — we’re a community built around bikes, beer, and good times. Based out of Plum Grove Cyclery in Leesburg, VA, we ride most of the year on Saturday mornings, exploring the beautiful gravel roads of Loudoun County and beyond.

We welcome riders of all levels and pride ourselves on a fun, no-drop ride culture. Whether you’re looking for a social spin or a solid workout, there’s a place for you in the VeloPigs peloton.

Our mission is to promote the spirit of gravel biking and camaraderie, while also supporting local businesses, breweries, and causes. After our rides, it’s not uncommon to find us gathered at a local brewery, sharing stories and toasting to another great ride.
